Bertrand Le Métayer’s father Pierre-Charles was a bloodstock agent and sent some of the first French top jumpers in Ireland and Britain, such as Queen Mother victors Klairon and Edredon Bleu. Bertrand followed suit after a Worldwide cursus that took him to Ireland (Tattersalls Ireland), Britain (Tattersalls), South Africa (Summerhil & Varsfontein Stud) and Kentucky (Keeneland). A Tattersalls French representative since 2000, Bertrand has always kept a keen interest in jumps racing.
