Over the past five weeks, three-year-olds bought from the 2017 renewal of the ARQANA Breeze Sale have been firing on all cylinders, winning no less than 10 maiden or conditions races and placing in two Listed/Group events.

A €75,000 purchase by Broadhurst Agency from Mayfield Stables, Ecurie de Montlahuc’s HOMERIQUE lost her rivals en route to a facile victory in the Prix de Brunehaut April 3 before only coming down to LUMINATE in the dying strides of the Prix Pénélope Gr.3.

Al Shaqab Racing’s QAYSAR, who had been offered by Mocklershill, landed a third consecutive victory from four starts, while his fellow colourbearer AL ADAID opened his account in style at ParisLongchamp yesterday.

Godolphin’s esteemed RASTRELLI, bought from Church Farm Stables & Horse Park Stud, also landed a third victory at Newbury and will now be stepped up to Stakes company.

Henri-François Devin’s MISS SIENNA, who had been offered by Grove Stud, was only defeated by a short neck in the L. Prix Finlande, having won on her seasonal debut.

William Haggas celebrated a double at Redcar yesterday with two graduates of the 2017 Breeze Up sale : Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maltoum’s PRETTY BABY caught the eye when taking a Novice event by five lengths and is another one who will now tackle Stakes level while COMPLETION won a competitive handicap for Cheveley Park Stud.

SMART MOVE, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, DUCHESS OF DANZIG and FUTURE PROOF complete the handsome collection of successes in Great Britain, Ireland, France and Germany over the past five weeks.

The next renewal of the ARQANA Breeze Up sale takes place in Deauville, Saturday 12 Mai from 1 :00pm, with the breeze unfolding from 11:30am the day before on the grass at Deauville-La Touques racecourse.
