He has the same cross as established sire MANDURO (by MONSUN x BE MY GUEST).  He was well handled by his trainer Pia Brandt, to win the G2 Prix Vicomtesse  Vigier and the G3 Prix Gladiateur  etc etc…

A new arrival at La Hêtraie for the 2017 season, WALZERTAKT, is a son of the very sought-after and Sire of Sires, MONTJEU and bred on the same cross as dual Classic Winner CAMELOT (by MONTJEU out of daughter of KINGMAMBO). Trained by JP CARVALHO in Germany, he is still well known in France having won the G2 Prix Maurice de Nieuil and G3 Prix Barbeville.  He has a strong German pedigree and is also a half brother to three Black Type performers, including WIENER WALZER winner of the G1 German Derby.  He measures 1m66 and has a profile that should be very attractive to NH breeders.
