KING’S SOCKS, G. 2012 King’s Best x Alexandrina (lot 320).

Trained by Nicolas Bertran de Balanda, King’s Socks showed his potential from his very first start over jumps. A versatile and consistent performer, he has never finished out of the money bar his debut on the flat. At three, he finished second in the  L. Prix Aguado over hurdles, beaten only by Magalen Bryant’s champion DEVICE. The following season, he finished second in the Gr.3 Prix Hopper at Enghien on his third start over fences, before totally dominating the L. Prix Durtain, back over hurdles. He was a very good second on his latest start in the Gr.1 Prix Alain du Breil, just two and a half lengths away from Willie Mullins’s impressive winner FOOTPAD.

CEPAGE, G. 2012 Saddler Maker x Science Fiction (lot 310).

Trained by Emmanuel Clayeux, this four-year-old AQPS is constantly improving and has shown his excellent potential and his consistency over hurdles and fences. His race record at four is exemplary, with two wins and four places from six runs. He has most recently finished fourth in the Prix Ginetta II hurdle at Auteuil, beaten less than four lengths by the winner CHAHUTEUR. Cepage is a son of the recently deceased Saddler Maker, sire of the smart VERDURE DES OBEAUX, ALPHA DES OBEAUX, APPLE’S JADE, BRISTOL DE MAI etc

DAMZELLE GIGI, F. 2013 Blue Bresil x Unite Speciale (lot 315).

Placed in the care of Yohann Gourraud, this three-year-old filly finished fifth first time out at Lyon Parilly in a flat race for AQPS horses before opening her account on her second start, May 12 at Vichy. She is a daughter of Yorton Farm recent recruit Blue Brésil, who has already produced the talented jumpers LE PREZIEN, YOSILLE and SAINT GOUSTAN BLUE.

A few Wild Cards are still available within the horses in training and fillies and mares section.
