ARQANA is pleased to announce that Alix Choppin will take up a new role as Head of Marketing and Communications, following the departure of Alexandra Saint-Martin.
Choppin, 33, is a graduate of HEC, France’s leading business school. Having been introduced to racing via the Championnat des Grandes Ecoles, a championship allowing students to take part in fun races on France’s most prestigious racecourses, she went on to work for Weatherbys, Newmarket-based advertising agency Barnes Thompson and later the French Racing and Breeding Committee. She was in charge of communication at ARQANA from 2008 to 2011, after what she travelled for a year and returned as Secretary General for the newly created think tank Generation Galop. She also collaborated with the Thoroughbred Daily News and Destination Europe.
